Went a little local potato crazy today. The Gâteau de Pommes is made with Schartner Farms russets. The Warm Potato Salad uses Baby Whites, also from Schartner Farms. They boldly assert that South County soil equals better flavor!
Local greens also aboard, the Space Station Salad has Indie Growers green leaf lettuce from Bristol.
A new Slider sauce was created this morning, Onion Jam. Onions are cooked VERY slowly with a bit of cayenne and Slopeside maple syrup.
