Fire, hot iron, salt, cracked pepper, and Angus beef . . . these are the core tools of the flat top grill station aboard the rocket. Here, air temperatures soar to a hundred degrees or more while the grill itself can maintain surface temperature of seven hundred. There is no better way to properly sear meat and deliver maximum flavor. As one recent rocketeer proclaimed “these burgers make my stomach sing”. His smile was that of a boy having been told that dad had tickets to the World Series. We thought he was going to skip back to his car! These moments are just one of the reasons why the crew so loves practicing rocketry.
And knowing that all our meat is humanely raised and handled, free of hormones and antibiotics, and minimally processed deepens our pride in the meals we serve.
