The rocket is landing at the Rhode Island Blood Center from 11:30 to 2:00. We’re playing it safe and featuring garlic on the menu. When we think of blood centers, we think of vampires. We’ve run into a few of these nasty mutants in our travels . . . even run over some. Trust us, play it safe and eat some garlic! The Gazpacho Andaluz, Green Beans and Garlic, Pan Roasted Baby Red Potatoes with Garlic, and the Roasted Garlic Aioli all have appropriate levels of garlic with which to effectively deter the fiends.
Tonight we’ll be at Brown Street Park for their summer Concert Series. The rocket will be serving from 5:00 to 7:30. The Double Decker Dance Band will be performing. Oh yeah, it’s FREE.
